Who is behind Lira
Neurodivergence gets recognised late in women, and the years before that cost something. Lira works on both ends of it: the app women use day to day, and the tools clinicians use when they assess. The people below decide what each of them is allowed to say.
We would rather measure what changes than claim it. In the app, that means a research study on our own impact, with clinically validated instruments.

Lira started with Mariana. She has assessed ADHD and autism across ages and genders, and in recent years turned most of her attention to girls and women, because that is where the assessment is hardest and where the most years get lost. She writes the clinical content and decides what Lira is allowed to say.

Mafalda works on the same clinical ground as Mariana: what Lira says, how a question is worded, and what the app does with the answer. That work runs through both products, the app women use every day and the tools professionals use in assessment.
Design
Nada designs how Lira looks and moves, from the app to this website. She came to it from years of brand, illustration and motion work in Lisbon, Cairo and Dubai. A calm screen is a clinical decision here, not a style, and she is the one who holds that line.
Mascot, and the voice we answer to
In the app, Lira is the one who shows up on the hard days, never asks you to try harder, and takes a nap when you do. We argue about her tone as much as we argue about clinical accuracy, which is roughly the point of her.
